SEPHORA inside JCPenney Beauty Educator

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the EDM ( Education and Development Manager), the SiJCPBE (Sephora inside JCPenney Beauty Educator) will deliver the highest level of product and selling skills training to all levels of SiJCP (Sephora inside JCPenney) stores' consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training and Education
  • Assist in facilitating and presenting SOS (Science of Sephora), Orientation, WE CARE and brand education modules off-site and in-store settings
  • Implementation of existing and future product and selling skills training
  • Evaluate, coach, and train in-store when off-site training is complete
  • Attend Train the Trainer sessions to develop personal product knowledge
  • Provide Plus/Delta feedback to the EDM and BM (Beauty Manager), if in-store, at the conclusion of training sessions, and if needed from SOS/brand training sessions
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with the Store Manager, Beauty Manager, Beauty Specialists, Product Consultants

  • Represent Sephora inside JCPenney in a professional and ethical manner at all times, following all Sephora and JCPenney guidelines

Requirements

- Proven ability to conduct successful trainings utilizing exceptional and innovative presentation skills and tools

- Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora concept is preferred

- Commitment to one year minimum of frequent travel, which may be 3-4 weeks per month

- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred

- Previous experience as a Sephora Product Expert is required if the candidate is applying internally

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to give and receive feedback and act upon it

- University degree or equivalent experience

- Able to lift and move 50 pounds

- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
