This position is responsible for supporting the execution and analysis of marketing efforts across the Anthropologie brand (Retail stores, online, catalog).
Primary role is to ensure implementation, execution and analyses of cross channel customer marketing programs. Through partnership with the Database Specialist, this position will design and execute workflow/processes and lead team as SME in Unica and best practices.
The position is also accountable for designing the analytical framework to test working hypothesis and insights, using SQL programming skills to extract the proper data from a variety of systems, executing business-focused analysis, making actionable recommendations and presenting findings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written & oral.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize financial data and research into clear, concise presentations for senior leaders.
- Strong grasp of direct response/database marketing, customer relationship management, customer data management, customer lifetime value, consumer behavior and motivation.
- Understanding of experimental design (e.g. A-B testing) and analytical modeling application for improved targeting a huge plus
- Self disciplined and motivated in a marketing environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail
- Unica Campaign Management application experience
- Business Intelligence application experience, preferably Microstrategy a plus
- Proficient in quering databases with SQL
- Strong ability to conceptualize data schemas and comprehend the high-level architecture of a marketing database solution
- Experience working with SAS models and analytics a strong plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Computing Skills: SQL, Advanced Excel skills (particularly with business modeling and analytics), Unica Campaign software
- BS in Marketing or Database Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years experience in a database marketing environment, preferably retail, ecommerce or catalog
