Charlotte Russe Financial Analyst (San Diego, CA)

SUMMARY
Works cross functionally to ensure operational & company financial goals/objectives are met on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Provides analytical & strategic support to business partners to ensure near and long term strategies are optimized for company growth.

Applies principles of accounting and financial analysis to analyze past and present financial operations and prepares periodic multi-departmental budgets by performing the following duties. Responsible for abiding by all Company standards as explained in the Company Handbook. All essential duties listed below must be accomplished according to established department measures and standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes records of past and present financial data, trends and costs, estimated and actual revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred, to project future sales and expenses.
  • Provide Store Operations strategy support.
  • Work with all business partners to forecast store payroll annually, monthly & weekly; provide necessary business updates & variance analysis to all levels of management, and strategic support for improved modeling allocations.
  • Forecast Store Operating Supply budget, provide monthly store expense dollars, monitor expenses and provide variance analysis.
  • Field bonus program: develop & communicate goals, calculate results, and variance analysis.
  • Field key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
  • Traffic/Conversion Analysis
  • Assists management on matters such assumptions underlying budget forecasts and variances from budget.
  • Prepares analysis and reviews with Financial Management to ensure adjustments are made in accordance with program changes in order to facilitate financial planning.
  • Assists in the preparation of internal forecasts of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows and other financial data for the senior executive staff.
  • Prepares periodic reports and schedules in support of the Financial Management.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.
