Aveda Institute Guest Services Coordinator (Los Angeles)

The Aveda Institute Los Angeles is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Guest Services Coordinator!

Position Purpose:
Follow guidelines necessary to provide service excellence in the arena of customer service and proper scheduling to all clients.

Description of Duties:
Work in partnership with the District Manager of Retail and Guest Services, Operations Team Lead and Retail Advisors to:

∗ Answer high volume of incoming calls, scheduling appointments and providing technical service/general information.
∗ Maintains personal sales and achieves sales goals
∗ Must partner with Clinic Floor Team Lead and retail team members to ensure a consistent, quality experience for guest by ensuring their appointments are booked appropriately.
∗ Support strategies to achieve institute service and call volume goals, benchmarks and objectives.
∗ Implement effective selling strategies to up-sell services and notify guests of specials.
∗ Actively participate in guest services incentive programs for team members on a regular basis.
∗ Responsible for efficiently and effectively booking all services for the salon and spa.
∗ Significant daily internal and external customer interaction with guests and team members.
∗ Support Salon Spa Sales Team Lead in the execution of special events for the promotion of new launches.
∗ Must address and effectively document guest issues and/or requests in an effective manner.
∗ Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment through team building and motivation.
∗ Mail price lists/information to guests as requested in a timely fashion as needed.
∗ Create recruiting packets for the admissions office.
∗ Must maintain a high level of professionalism with students, team members and guests.
∗ Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.


Minimum Requirements:

∗ High School diploma or equivalent. College education and/or degree preferred.
∗ 2-3 year call center experience preferred.
∗ Time Management: ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
∗ Must have prior customer service experience, preferably in a busy call center
∗ Must be able to handle high call volume.
∗ Must be detail oriented.
∗ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be articulate in English.
∗ Commitment to company mission and vision.
∗ Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
