Job Description:
Responsible for leading the development and publication of Williams-Sonoma online culinary content. Develop and execute strategies to leverage existing assets and produce new content that adds value to customers’ online experience.
Plan and manage seasonal online content production.
-Develop unique content to support cross-channel brand merchandising themes and marketing initiatives.
-Define new areas of need and create seasonal site editorial requirements.
-Create and share content calendar with cross-functional teams.
-Scope and manage video production process
-Identify opportunities for marketing content through digital and social media channels.
-Work with creative and site merchandising teams to successfully publish to ecommerce and partner sites.
Optimize onsite content destination
-Manage the addition of existing recipe and related culinary assets to online library.
-Maintain content database, including recipe data and attributes.
-Configure new menus and recipe groupings to support seasonal marketing initiatives.
-Build library of culinary techniques, tips, articles and other related resources.
-Manage wine pairing process and related content for brand wine club.
-Host and seed topical forums and discussions.
Curate content from multiple internal and external sources.
-Work closely with internal culinary resources to present brand voice and editorial perspective.
-Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with external editorial voices.
-Manage freelance writers and editors to deliver blog updates and feature content.
-Work with brand community manager to edit and leverage user-generated content across all channels.
Qualifications:
-Actively involved culinary community, with a thorough understanding of related trends and issues.
-Extensive knowledge of food and cooking.
-Interest in wine, entertaining, travel and other food-related subjects.
-Demonstratable editorial or feature writing experience.
-Familiarity with web content management systems and processes.
-Established project management skills, with ability to organize and prioritize efficiently.
-Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams at all levels.
-Self-motivated and passionate about creating compelling customer-facing content.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Highly creative with strong conceptual capabilties.
-Print or digital publishing experience a plus.
-Video editing or production experience a plus.
Requirements:
-BA/BS required.
-4 years of content management, editorial, publishing, culinary or similar professional experience.
-Ability to work off-hours and off-site necessary.
