We are currently searching for a Technical Designer for Product and Fabric to live and work out of our Shanghai, China Office for a minimum of two years. Home Textile Experience is preferred. Essential Responsibilities: · Makes sure that Technical Diagrams that are created by the Company are being closely followed by the factories during production. · Ensures that accurate colors are being maintained for production. · Will live in China for a minimum of a (2) two year period visiting the factories and ensuring that production is up to our technical standards. Will also visit factories to ensure that the colors of our products are checked to make sure that they are up to standard. · Will give technical advice to the factories as to how to fix color problems when they occur. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Must have a Home Textile Background. · Must have a Fabric Engineer background. · Must have technical experience in fabric development, wovens and color knowledge. · Must be very organized and have an adventurous personality. Experience: Must have a minimum of (2) two plus years experience in Home Textile Design. Colorist and Design background a must.
