| | | | | | | | | Job Posting Description | | Job Summary The Public Relations, Assoc. Manager contributes to Henri Bendel¿s success by assisting the PR team in the development and execution of public relations plans which maintain and enhance the company¿s reputation, build preference for its brands and products, and position the company as an industry leader. This person will assist the public relations team by planning and executing launch events, aligning with the brand communications team to deliver effective messaging to the press, and work inter-departmentally to support the PR team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
PR REQUIREMENTS -Oversee all regional press efforts including researching and identifying appropriate publications for the HB brand -Generate all press releases on collections and new developments -Coordinate store openings, special events and product launches -Support Director in development and execution of PR plans and strategies. -Develop and maintain editor relationships -Responsible for the writing of internal press materials, key messages internal communications and PR plans. -Create collateral materials like press kits. -Create and maintain invite and RSVP lists -Manage all production aspects for PR events(on and off site) -Maintain event budgets and code and track invoices for processing -Organize and coordinate fashion shows seating for designated HB executives -Supervise all department interns (when applicable) and in the future, a PR coordinator.
EVENT REQUIREMENTS -Brainstorm, strategize and propose event concepts and plans. -Execute all Flagship and regional events -Arrange and negotiate external vendor appointments. -Act as regional expert re: vendors. -Negotiate most vendor proposals (i.e. Caterers, Lighting, Sound, décor etc) -Create and develop contacts with event hosts, committees, charities and socialites. -Collaborate on creation and design of specialty invitations (for large image events). | | Qualification | | GENERAL REQUIREMENTS -Minimum 3 + yrs relevant experience -Excellent organizational skills -Keen attention to detail -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Highly motivated and eager to learn -Flexibility in high-stress situations -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment -Excellent communication and collaboration skills -Strong time management skills -Must have a strong work ethic, and be an enthusiastic team player
