Fashion Production Assistant (Los Angeles)

Monserat De Lucca is an intimate West Los Angeles based handbag wholesale and design studio. Monserat De Lucca specializes in premium leather goods and accessories sold exclusively to fine boutiques and department stores worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:
Rapidly growing, luxury handbag studio located on the west side seeks highly organized, hardworking and detail-oriented individual responsible for managing duties which will include production, design, development, and sales. Our environment is fast paced, friendly and team oriented. The ideal candidate must be comfortable balancing a variety of job responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with product design/development
- Managing and tracking of all aspects of overseas Production including procurement of development samples, quality control and ensuring timely delivery of bulk orders. Daily interfacing with overseas factories will be required.
- Assisting with customer service and account management.
- Sales responsibilities may be included and will involve some travel. Candidate must be friendly and presentable as they will be interfacing with buyers and customers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year university or college
- Former fashion related work esp. production related is a plus
- Strong project management, computer, and e-mailing skills
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough and organized
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable on the phones and working with others
- Interest and an eye for fashion is required
- Candidate must be well put together and have a flexible schedule as domestic and international travel will be required
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a plus
- Ability and eagerness to manage multiple tasks at a time is required
