Description: LimeLife has an immediate opening for a style, beauty, and celebrity enthusiast with exceptional writing and editing skills along with a love of social media. We're launching new projects with dazzling and entertaining content. Are you a wordsmith with a glam sense of what's hot in fashion, Hollywood, and media trends We want to meet you.

The Web Editor will primarily be responsible for gathering, creating and posting content on LimeLife's Web and mobile (m.limelife.com) sites. The Web Editor will also contribute to editorial projects elsewhere in the organization such as marketing materials and mobile game text. The Web Editor will be responsible for writing, editing and posting content to the company's female-focused, consumer-facing web sites. The Web Editor will also contribute to the company's text and email alerts. Duties will also include sourcing content from partners and outside contributors (bloggers, free-lancers, etc); editing content, writing headlines, teasers and summaries.

The ideal candidate will be highly familiar with the blogosphere and be comfortable posting content using blogging software or content management system. Knowledge of common blogging software as well as simple digital image manipulation software is also required.

Responsibilities:

Own specific areas of content on LimeLife's Web and WAP sites
Write demographically targeted content
Create community focused content such as polls, quizzes and ratings
Ability to identify, source, contract and integrate content from outside sources and contributors
Work within content management system to post content on a regular (multiple times daily) basis
Create headlines, teasers and summaries that entice readers
Expert knowledge and interest in female centric content such as fashion, shopping, celebrity, entertainment, music, news, relationships, technology
Manage outside contributors
Manage partnerships with third party content provider
Manage relationship with photo and image services
Maintain constant awareness of competitive sites and content sources to ensure a unique and innovative experience for LimeLife's audience
Work with production, product management, marketing and engineering on new content and product proposals

Skills and Requirements:

Dynamic and inspiring writer (we'll want to see samples)
5 years experience editing and writingpreferably in web and/or other short form content
Extremely sharp grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
Strong project management, and organizational skills
Process oriented
Ability to manage other internal and external contributors
Computer savvyyou will be posting content (via CMS system) as well as writing it
Basic Photoshop (cropping, re-sizing and manipulating)
Strong balance of creativity, strategic, and analytical skills. Must be able to identify changing market developments and identify opportunities for LimeLife
Ability to present and explain technical and business information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
High standards and a strong sense of ownershipyou should be offended if there's sub-par, incorrect or inconsistent content on your site. Typos or errors should cause you pain
Degree in journalism/English or a related field
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team but also autonomously
Self-motivated, positive and collaborative attitude
