Double Forte PR Director (San Francisco, CA)

Double Forte is a public relations and marketing services firm expert at connecting companies with the people who matter to them. We’re based in San Francisco, with clients nationwide and overseas. Our current clients include Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Clif Bar & Company, CamelBak, Chiquita International, Fresh Express, Major League Gaming and Havok, among others.

We hire people who know how to plan and execute communications programs to a range of audiences, including media, analysts, investors, employees, retailers and consumers, just to name a few.

Most importantly, we're looking for communications experts who are ready to roll up their sleeves, work hard and make a difference. We’re only interested in people who have an “of service” attitude, both among their teammates at the agency and with our clients.

Must be good at establishing, motivating and running teams of high-performing people.

- Media Relations: Even people with 8+ years of experience do media relations here. If you haven’t done or don’t like to do media relations, you might as well skip the rest of this listing. We need someone who likes it, is good at it, and proud of it. It's not ALL you'll do here, but it's very important, and we place very high value on doing it right.

- Social Media: Must be a well versed practitioner in social media platforms (including Blogging, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Ning, etc.). Must be active in at least one medium and have experience managing social media communications campaigns.

- Writing: Press materials, web site copy, compelling and concise pitches, video scripts, annual plans, new business proposals - not to mention succinct, informative, guidance-oriented daily communications with team and client (Hint: If your AP Stylebook isn’t dog-eared and full of post-it notes, this isn’t the place for you.)

If you’re a talented communications professional and a sincere human being, we’d like to meet you. We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a real passion for the craft of communications
