Entry Level Web Marketing Position with Retail Experience. (Redondo Beach, CA)

We are a 10 year old Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) apparel business located in Redondo Beach, CA. We are looking for a special person with retail back ground that is looking to also learn online marketing and sales.

If you want to gain experience in all aspects of selling and marketing the Internet, then this is the job for you.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Self starter who is highly motivated & able to problem solve and bring solutions to management
• Retail Sales experience
• Highly computer / Internet literate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Basic photo-editing skills / Photoshop (re size photos, change photo formats, change brightness/contrast, etc.)
• Ability to learn new software processes and technical skills quickly and independently
• Attention to detail and very good English writing skills (Spelling and Grammar)
• Basic digital Camera Skills
• Local candidates only

PLUSES:
• E-commerce/shopping-cart experience
• Working knowledge of Ebay/Amazon/PayPal
• Web design/maintenance
• Internet marketing / SEO / PPC / Newsletter marketing
• Good working knowledge of HTML is a plus
• Experience with MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Orkut

WORK OVERVIEW:
• You will assist in all aspects of maintaining the company's shopping cart. No strong programming skills are necessary. You will add products, manage inventory, edit product info, shoot product photos, etc.
• Most of the work is computer / internet related. The rest will be basic administrative and retail shop work.
• Open shop at 11:00 am and provide support to shop manager and other employees.
• You are not required to have any martial arts knowledge but will be expected to learn the basics differences in the types of arts in order to do your job well.

OTHER INFO:
• This is an hourly position.
• Position is for 25-30 hours/week, from 8am - 1pm, Monday - Friday. However, occasional overtime and weekend work is a requirement of the job.
• We need someone who is available for a long-term commitment, who is looking to move up in the company and expand with our growth.
