Merchandise Processor

e are seeking upbeat, energetic, friendly people to work in our shipping warehouse. Merchandise Processors are responsible for pricing and sorting merchandise and supplies for our 27 store locations.

Crossroads Trading Co. is a trendy recycled clothing company. Our warehouse team is fun and hardworking, and enjoys working with clothing and accessories. We encourage people with an interest in fashion to apply.

We currently have 1 part-time position open.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm in North Berkeley

Duties include:
--Unpacking large boxes, sorting and pricing clothing & accessories
--Preparing packages for shipping
--Receiving shipments
--Assisting in maintaining the appearance of the warehouse

Merchandise Assistant, LA

The Merchandising Assistant will provide support to the Merchandising Department. There will be a variety of different responsibilities most of which will require an extremely high level of attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Compile comments on seasonal line from domestic markets into a readable report
•Responsible for communicating information and managing changes related to the tees, collection, sweaters, and outerwear/activewear categories.
•Conducts trend research and inspiration by season, as well as competitive shopping
•Create, manage and analyze reporting for merchandising and design purposes, including weekly, monthly, and season-to-date reports. New styles, carryover styles, reorders, best sellers etc.
•Liaison between Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to create and maintain all Marketing Collateral
•Manage the seasonal carryovers by style, including all necessary categories/divisions. Relay all information pertaining to carryovers to the necessary parties (Marketing = linebook, numerical line list; Sampling = samples; Design = miscellaneous needs such as updating sketches)

This purpose of this position is to act as an integral part of the Merchandising team for an assigned brand, consumer segment & product line, and support the day-to-day functions involved with the development of product from inception to floor.

•Create and maintain line plans/matrix and communicate plans to stakeholders
•Assist with targeted consumer research via market shopping and trade/fashion publications to contribute to line development and pricing strategies
•Provide historical analysis to support the development of seasonal product briefs
•Create and maintain internal seasonal sample lines

Description : As a member of the CROSSMARK retail team you will perform resets and general merchandising in a variety of stores in an assigned geographic area. Resets consist of reading plan-o-grams (schematics, diagrams) and pulling products off the shelf and re-shelving in an organized fashion. General merchandising consists of checking inventory, meeting with store managers, providing customer service, checking expiration dates, and making sure the proper products are on the shelves to increase sales.
