The Distribution Manager is responsible for the overall success of our warehouse facility. The manager works with other supervisors, team leaders and various support personnel to coordinate efforts between receiving, inventory, pick/ pack and shipping.

Responsibilities Include:

 Provides leadership, direction, and motivation to the warehouse distribution team. Maintains close contact and updates team members on day-to-day activities, challenges and opportunities.

 Manages the Lazy Susan USA shipping and customer service performance levels, both internally and externally to ensure effectiveness, order integrity and timeliness through measurable performance metrics and goals.

 Provides world-class service through product availability, by establishing processes to monitor critical stock products and by providing timely and thorough communication of issues to Sales and Customer Service.

 Establishes procedures and work flows to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, inventory receipts, and all other inventory movements.

 Manages the documentation of policies and procedures, to ensure efficient and accurate processing.

 Coordinates with others in the company to ensure the successful implementation & execution of Sales and Marketing programs and promotions.

 Oversees company policy regarding safety, human resources, and training within the warehouse environment.

 Focuses on continuous improvement opportunities and actions to drive more efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications:

• Five years minimum experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Prior experience in distribution center management
• A Bachelors Degree in Business, Logistics or another applicable field.
• Experienced in volume pick & pack order fulfilment, small package shipping and inventory control.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills.
• Strong reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, autonomy and independence.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of WMS systems, MS Excel and Word.
