The assistant designer will be responsible for aiding designer in executing a percentage of each season's designs. We are seeking an individual who will work well with the creative team in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, is quality driven and pay close attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions:
Making design sheet corrections setting up tech packs/BOMS for development Special projects as determined.
Experience requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of apparel assistant design experience Design degree is a plus.
Proficiency in a wide range of software including latest versions of Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft etc. for Macintosh.
Full Circle knowledge is a plus.
Must be experienced and knowledgeable about the following: Colors, Fits/block, Garment construction.
Competencies:
Ability to stay focused.
Excellent time management and self motivation skills to meet frequent deadlins.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Superior organizational skills.
Ability to understand and respond to all issues related to assigned projects.
