BUYERS CLERICAL ASSISTANT

The qualified candidate will have a strong work ethic, pay close attention to detail, have good organizational skills, willingness to learn and the desire to make a career. Good communication skills are necessary and punctuality is a must! Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.


The company’s environment is best suited to creative, fashion-minded individuals. Ideal candidates are upbeat, energetic, recent college grads, fashion-forward thinkers with strong computer skills. If you have excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills and have the ability to work well independently with little supervision this could be the position for you.

Profile : Requirements:


Your duties would be providing direct assistance to the Buyer:


Need excellent computer/spreadsheet skills,
Superior phone, organization, filing and a detail orientation.
Must have a good eye for fashion and understand our customers.
Strong desire to be a buyer
Willingness to get in at the ground level and grow with an organization
Familiarity and experience with standard computer software
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency
Positive, upbeat anything and everything personality
Team player, problem solver
Flexibility to shift primary focus as needed
Detail oriented multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Love for all things fashion and the retail industry
University or college degree or commensurate retail experience.
Strong retail math acumen, including elements of markup, margin planning, open to buy, inventory productivity measures,
Bi-Lingual a huge plus

This is an entry level position paying between 10.00 - 13.00 an hour from 8:30AM-5:15PM Monday - Friday plus benefits after 90 days.

Production Coordinator/Office Assistant (Los Angeles)

Seeking a professional, responsible, organized and energetic production coordinator/office assistant for a growing handbag design business for 20-25 hours/week. Position could easily lead to advancement and additional hours with the right match.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a business/admin position: It is for someone who loves organization, numbers, and efficiency; and, has entrepreneurial interests, marketing ideas, is open-minded and has great sense of humor. This is not a design position.

The ideal candidate has solid experience (3+ years) as an office assistant/coordinator and the following skills:

1. Self-motivated- must have a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
2. Professional, responsible and has integrity
3. Strong organizational and business communication skills (writing and proofreading skills)
4. High attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize
5. Enjoys working in a supportive role and in a fast-paced environment
6. Must understand deadlines and complete projects in previously agreed upon time-frame.
7. Knowledge of Macs & PCs a must, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email programs), Database software (FileMaker, Now Contact), Internet, and Quick Books. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator preferred
8. Must be comfortable around friendly dogs
9. Interest in fashion is also a plus
10. Must have a car
11. College degree preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Oversee the production/manufacturing of our products
2. Process orders
3. Update and maintain website and press materials
4. Maintain database and mailing lists
5. Coordinate travel plans and tradeshow planning
6. Send out mailers, email newsletters, etc
7. Light-bookkeeping
8. Customer service
9. General office management and organization
