- Place all production orders for European mills and manage all follow up. Daily follow up to track all delivery issues and provide up to date communications.
- Negotiate price, delivery, terms and conditions of bulk fabric orders with raw material suppliers and document all confirmations.
- Partner closely with Coach Asia counterparts to share back and forth information on production, shipping and delivery of all fabrics paying close attention to Pipe Finished Goods production and all late development newness
- Attend and participate in weekly Product Change Request meetings to understand changes in business group objectives as it pertains to fabric production.
- Act as initial contact for all fabric and quality issues as they arise and as it relates to production. Work in conjunction with counterparts to investigate issues and resolve any issues.
- Work closely with Coach Asia counterparts to handle all excess inventory and act as the NY based point person.
- Update final fabric pricing in Flex PLM system and SAP. Negotiate exchange rates with European mills.
- Support global price change/supplier change notices and update process.
- Prepare and communicate all long lead time memos to cross functional partners to share updates and status on fabric orders.
