Personal Shopper – Banana Republic

The Personal Shopper is part of the Special Services department at the Flagship location. This position focuses on achieving weekly/monthly selling goals, setting up appointments on the company’s website, designed exclusively for the use of our personal shopper team. This customized tool allows personal shoppers to better serve clients by tracking buying preferences, and communicate regularly with clients regarding new product, promotional events, and up-coming gift giving occasions. The Personal Shopper also assists with in-store events and promotions.

Building relationships and trust with clients is the cornerstone of the department’s success. In addition to working with private clients, the Personal Shopper works with local businesses (banking groups, hotels, law firms & real estate offices) to network and provide consultation and support with workplace outfitting and wardrobing. This position is the most elevated expression of customer service at Banana Republic.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ready-to-wear retail clothing sales
• 30 % established clientele book
• Ability to outfit and wardrobe customers effectively.
• Knowledge of fashion trends & style.
• Proficient in MS Word
• Excellent written & verbal communication.
• High school diploma a must, BA degree a plus.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Goal oriented, with a track record of selling, and providing amazing customer service.
• Ability to drive repeat customer business through personal follow-up.
• Excellent time management skills
• Communicate professionally, and effectively

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for fashion and selling, ability to multi-task, and demonstrate strong customer-focused service on and off the sales floor.

Requirements
