Talbots Colorist (NYC)

DESCRIPTION:

The Colorist position is responsible for final approval of all lab dips and bulk submissions for a specific product category of the Ready-To-Wear division. This includes evaluating all lab dips and bulk and making critical decisions to meet time and action calendar.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of an Associates' Degree, Textile Degree preferred or course work in the Color Industry. Must have two years experience evaluating color utilizing a lightbox and/or a spectrophotometer instrument preferably in the garment or textile industry. Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to problem solve and exceptional organizational skills are required.
