We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Investigator that will be based out of Sacramento, CA. This position reports to the Manager of Investigations.

The Corporate Investigator is responsible for executing the investigative process from determining the existence of shrink with a focus upon areas deemed high shrink areas. The incumbent partners with stores and analyzes reports through the exception reporting system and determines the course of action to resolve any issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates and analyzes reports through the exception reporting system
  • Conducts weekly trend reporting and determines high shrink areas
  • Conducts interviews to substantiate investigative findings from documentations and determines course of action
  • Integrates investigative focus of the High Shrink Program including conducting surveillance’s when required and analyzing inventory results for determining investigative priority
  • Identifies and communicates theft and store control failure trends and determines a corrective course of action to resolve the issue
  • Partners with field management in investigative findings, trends in theft and store control failure

Job Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of multi-unit store loss prevention experience
  • Wicklander-Zulawski interviewing certification
  • Exception-based reporting experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time
